OpenAI images format
POST /v1/images/generations. The OpenAI SDK for Python and JavaScript just works: change the base URL.
Pick a resolution
Square, landscape and portrait up to 2048×2048. A size the model doesn't offer is refused with a clear message.
Reference images
Send image links to edit, restyle or keep a character, on the models that support it.
Async for long requests
Send async: true, get an id, then check the status. Requests longer than 80 seconds turn async on their own.
Failures are free
Images that fail, are refused because of the prompt or cannot be saved show in your history at Rp 0.
History and cost
Every image is in the dashboard: model, size, tokens and price, plus a gallery of the last 7 days.
Images are kept for 7 days
Every image gets a link on ai.helipod.io that works for 7 days; then the image is deleted. Save the images you use to your own app's storage; every response tells you the deletion date (expires_at).

How much does AI image generation cost at Helipod?
From Rp 320 per image with Seedream 5.0 Flash. Every model's price per resolution is in the table above, tax included. You only pay for images that are delivered.
Which models are available?
13 image models: Seedream 5.0 (Flash, Lite, Pro), Kling Image (3, O1, 3 Omni), Vidu Image Q2, Hunyuan Image (3, 3.5) and Vega Image (Lite, Flash, Pro, 1.5 Pro). All through the same endpoint and API key.
Can I use the OpenAI SDK?
Yes. POST /v1/images/generations uses the OpenAI images format. Point the base URL at https://ai.helipod.io/v1, use your Helipod API key and call client.images.generate with a model name from the table.
How long are images kept?
7 days. The image link works for 7 days, then the image is deleted. Every response gives the date (expires_at). Download and store the images you want to keep.
What if an image fails?
You are not charged. Images that fail, are refused by the model because of the prompt, or cannot be saved show in your history at Rp 0.
Which resolutions are supported?
It depends on the model: from 1024×1024 to 2048×2048, landscape such as 1920×1080 and 1408×768, and portrait. Send a size the model offers; the full list is in the price table.
How do I pay?
