What is an OpenCode VPS?
OpenCode is an open-source AI coding agent that runs in the terminal. You give instructions and the agent reads your project, proposes changes, edits files and runs commands.
Running the agent on a VPS has a few advantages: long tasks keep going when your laptop is closed, the project environment is separate from your personal computer, and you can pick up the work from another device over SSH.
A full Linux server, not a limited sandbox. You get root access and can install any language, database or tool your project needs.

From order to coding
OpenCode is already installed. These are the steps after you order.

Choose a plan and region
Pick 2 to 8 GB RAM, a region (Jakarta, Singapore, Bangkok, Tokyo or Seoul) and a period of 1, 3, 6 or 12 months.

Connect over SSH
Run ssh ubuntu@server-IP from your terminal, or use the Terminal tab in the dashboard.

Run opencode auth login, pick a provider and enter your API key.

Clone or create a project, enter its folder with cd my-project, then run opencode.

How do I get started after ordering?
Connect with ssh ubuntu@server-IP (or the Terminal tab in the dashboard), run opencode auth login to connect an AI provider, then cd into your project folder and run opencode.
Is there a web interface?
No. OpenCode runs in the terminal, so you use it over SSH or through the Terminal tab in the dashboard. No web port is opened for OpenCode.
Are AI model API keys included?
No. You log in to the provider of your choice (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, DeepSeek, OpenRouter and others) with opencode auth login. You can also use the Helipod AI API gateway: one key for many models, billed in Rupiah.
How do I keep the agent running when SSH disconnects?
Run opencode inside tmux or screen. The server stays on 24/7, so you can reattach to the same session from any device.
Which plan should I pick?
For small projects, 2 GB RAM is enough to start. If your project runs heavy builds, Docker or a database, pick more RAM. You can upgrade to a larger app plan at any time.
Which regions are available?
The OpenCode VPS is available in Jakarta, Singapore, Bangkok, Tokyo and Seoul.
Is my code backed up?
Not automatically. Keep your code in Git, take a snapshot before big changes, and turn on nightly off-site backups (a paid add-on from Rp 19.900/month) if you need them.
